Configurable Boxes
The configurable boxes consist of three components --
corner posts, sides and ends.
Corner Posts
The corner posts are made from 3/4" x 3/4" strips. Along two adjacent
sides of the strip there is a 1/4" wide by 1/8" dado (centered) for
the sides. The corner posts are fastened to the ends with glue or
screws. The sides are not glued and float in the dado.
Ends
The ends can consist of a flat block or can have a milled dado to
accept the sides. The ends in the pictures have a dado. The dado is
1/4" wide by 1/8" deep.
Sides
The sides can be made from 1/4" thick board (or thicker). If a thicker
board is used then the sides need to be rabbeted to slide into the
dado
Purchasing
All of the accessories are custom made although there are usually a
small number of oak bases (for the ZB1 + LCD + battery source) in

About the Wood
All of the wood used is reclaimed. The Oak and Norway Maple were
harvested from local trees that were discarded. The Mahogany is
from construction scraps.
